Hey Ang,
I know it's tough, facing the possibility of a C-section after being so PREPARED for your home birth. You've done so much to be READY .... and you've allowed us to watch and listen. I've been a subscriber of yours for many, many years - before you and Richard were married, if I recall correctly! I'm the proud mom of a 24-year-old daughter who came into this world thru a C-section. It was NOT what I wanted - especially after 11 hours of labor! But, it works out. Little Mason will be fine. I'm rooting for you! Take care of yourself, and it'll all work out the way it's supposed to. That's my philosophy and I'm stickin' to it! Good luck. It'll all be GREAT!!!

Those babies are tricky! My c-section was because at the last minute he flipped. They doctor did an ultrasound in early labor and he was ready to go. When it came time to push, he wouldn't come out. When he came out through c-setcion, the doctor said "No wonder you couldn't get him through. The little bugger flipped!"

And my VBAC was the opposite. Even in full labor he hadn't dropped yet and everyone told me to get ready for another c-section. when it came time to push, he suddenly dropped. Go figure!
